spring 2020 class schedule

weekly classes

FREE for club members (become a club member here!)

Our alumni, Steph and Ike, are teaching virtual all-level Standard and Latin classes this semester. Beginners are welcome and no partner necessary! Classes begin Tuesday, Feb. 9th and Wednesday Feb. 10th. You can join the classes by signing up in advance here, and we'll send you the zoom invite!
Latin - Tues. 6:30-7:30
Standard - Wed. 6:30-7:30

All weekly classes are cumulative. You'll be able to drop in and out of class the first couple of weeks of Newcomer classes without a problem, but expect them to build on themselves after that.

Normally, we have a wide range of in person classes at multiple levels for all ballroom styles. (You can see descriptions of what we usually teach below.) However, we are adjusting and adapting for saftety reasons. We may hold some in-person Newcomer-focused classes.

American Smooth/Rhythm
We primarily teach the International styles of ballroom dance in our club, but sometimes offer classes in either American Smooth or Rhythm. Smooth is the American style counterpart to Standard, and Rhythm is similar to Latin. The classes are usually intermediate level and focus on introducing American style to those who already have some basic knowledge of the International dances. Unfortunately, we couldn't fit them into the schedule for this semester, but we hope to offer them again in the future!
